Peanut In Windpipe Causes Death of Jesse J. Townsend

Although the peanut which had lodged in the windpipe of Jesse Patrick, two
year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Townsend of Houston, Texas, was removed
Saturday a week ago, the child succumbed Saturday, April 3, in the Memorial
Hospital at Houston.  Funeral services were held at Lake Charles Sunday, April
4, at 5 p.m., with the Rev. Harrington, Baptist minister, officiating.

Jesse Patrick was the nephew of Lee Townsend and Mrs. S. G. McDaniel of
Winnfield, and C. Townsend of Joyce, and the grandson of W. T. Townsend of
Joyce.
