Miss Mollie Townsend Of Joyce Succumbs To Brief Illness Tuesday

Miss Mollie Townsend died at her home in Joyce Tuesday, October 8th, following
a brief illness of one week.  Miss Townsend was only twenty-two years old,
was a member of the Joyce Baptist Church.  Funeral services were conducted by
the Rev. J. B. Adams of Sikes at the Union Cemetery where interment was made.

She is survived by her father, W. P. Townsend, four brothers, Lee of
Winnfield, Henry of Royal, La., Charles of Sikes, and Jesse of Joyce, and one
sister, Mrs. S. G. McDaniel of Winnfield.
