Tracy, 65, Succumbs; Rites Held Sat. Albert F. Tracy, 65, died at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 1969, in a Shreveport hospital. He was production manager at the old Carey Salt Mine near Winnfield until the mine was closed several years ago, having come to Winnfield from Hutchinson, Kansas, where he was employed by Carey Salt Company, when the shaft was put into the mine here. He was a native of Kansas and a member of the First Bretheren Church in Hutchinson. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Christine M. Tracy of Winnfield; three daughters, Mrs. Tracy Lee Harrel, Jr., of Winnfield, Mrs. Omar Earl of Columbus, Neb., and Mrs. Albert Hicks of Grenada Hills, Calif.; one brother, Wallace W. Tracy of Denver, Colo.; one sister, Mrs. Lila Roberts of Hutchinson, Kan.; his mother, Mrs. Louise Tracy of Hutchinson, Kan., eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Hixson Brothers Funeral Home chapel with Rev. C. C. Martin and Rev. Richard Walton officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery Pallbearers were Robert Heard, C. E. Pogue, E. J. Buchanan, Johnny Jackson, Marvin Caraway, Robert Maxey, Thomas Ray Straughan, and Morris Crawford.
