W. R. Gage, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery. Mrs. Trahan, wife of Ovey Trahan, chairman of the board of directors of the First Federal Savings and Loan of Winnfield, died in a Winnfield hospital at 7 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 1965, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Trahan was a native of Georgia and lived most of her life in Winnfield. She was a ember of the First Presbyterian Church of Winnfield. Survivors are her husband, and a sister, Mrs. Emma Hanstings, of Alexandria, and two nieces, Mrs. R. W. McDanile of Alexandria, and Mrs. Leo Vesehio of Pennsylvania. Pallbearers were A. B. White, Carrol Hatcher, C. B. Moss, Benny Smith, James Machen, Earl Denning, Harper Terrill, and Frank Shaw.
