All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: February 25, 1943 Winn Parish Enterprise Woodrow Traylor Claimed By Death On February 19 Woodrow Traylor, 29 year old Winnfield businessman, was claimed by death at 10:30 o'clock Friday morning, February 19, after an illness of two years. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:30 o'clock in the Jonesboro Baptist Church with the Rev. J. W. Buckner, pastor, and Rev. H. H. McBride, of Winnfield, in charge. Interment was made in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Mr. Traylor was born on September 28, 1913 at Verda, the son of W. E. Traylor and the late Mrs. Traylor. Before coming to Winnfield two years ago, he had lived in Jonesboro and Shreveport. Upon coming to Winnfield, he operated a local furniture store until March 1, 1942, when he and his father entered the furniture business together, opening the Traylor Furniture Store on Abel Street. Mr. Traylor had operated Harrell's Cleaners since last summer. Surviving Mr. Traylor are his father of Winnfield, a daughter, Patty Traylor of Shreveport, two sisters, Mrs. Roscoe Sandfur of Stuttgart, Ark., and Mrs. Pearl Brannon of Eros, and one brother, Pete Traylor, a member of the Army Air Corps serving in North Africa.
