Rites Are Held For Mrs. L. Truscott

Funeral services for Mrs. Laura M. Truscott, 76, who died Monday afternoon at
Luling, were held at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon.  Graveside services were
held at Goldonna Cemetery under the direction of Rockett Funeral Home of
Coushatta.

Mrs. Truscott was the grandmother of Mrs. Chester Cox, at Fittz Dairy,
Winnfield.  Other survivors are her husband, two sons, Hefley Milam of Corpus
Christi, Texas, and C. A. Milam, of Hot Springs, Arkansas; three daughters,
Mrs. Jettie Gorham, Mrs. Ardell Rhymes, and Mrs. Cecil Bedgood, all of New
Orleans; a half brother, two step children and a number of grandchildren.
