Andrew Turner, Sr.

Funeral services for Andrew Turner, Sr., were held at 11 a.m. Sunday in the
chapel of Winnfield with the Rev. E. D. Smith officiating.  Burial was in St.
Rest Baptist Cemetery, Quitman.

Turner, 69, of Winnfield died at 9:15 p.m., last Thursday, October 3, 1985 in
Humana Hospital - Winn Parish.

Turner was a World War II Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Almeta Turner of Winnfield; three sons, Andy
Williams and H. L. Turner both of Winnfield, and Clint Turner of Seattle,
Wash.; two daughters, Ruth Turner and Maggie Russell, both of Winnfield; two
sisters and one brother.
