E. Turbeville, Who Died Last Saturday Funeral services for George Edward Turbeville, age 69, who died of a heart attack November 26 between the hours of seven and eight in the morning, were held from the home here Saturday morning, the Rev. A. H. Cullen, Baptist minister, and the Rev. Alwin Stokes, Presbyterian minister, in charge of the services. Interment was in the Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, Pineville. Mrs. Turbeville, who is night telegraph operator for the L. & A. Railway Company, upon returning home Thursday morning, found her husband lying upon the bed fully dressed and dead. Mr. Turbeville, who operates the East End Service Station, where he lived, was said to have waited upon a customer at seven o'clock. The deceased was a native of Nashville, Tenn. He came to Winnfield from Stamps, Arkansas, in 1915. For many years he was railroad engineer of the L. & A. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. G. E. Durham of Pollock, two sons, George of New York and Frank of Prescott, Ark., and one brother, A. C. Turbeville, of Exeter, California.
