Turberville Is Found Dead Early Thursday Morning George Edward Tuberville, aged 69 years, was found dead in his bed at 8:15 o'clock, Thursday morning, by his wife, when she returned home from her duties as night dispatcher at the L. & A. Railroad office. Death was attributed to heart disease, although his health had been failing for sometime his condition was not considered alarming and his sudden death came as a distinct shock and loss to his family and friends. The deceased, a native of Nashville, Tenn., moved to this city in 1915 from Stamps, Ark., and for many years was an engineer on the L. & A. Railroad, with which he was still connected, however had been operating the East End Filling Station on the Alexandria highway, for several months. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at the Greenwood Cemetery in Pineville, by Rev. Alwin Stokes, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, and Rev. A. H. Cullen, pastor of the Baptist Church of this city. Surviving him are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. G. E. Durham of Pollack, and two sons, George Tuberville of New York, and Frank Tuberville of Prescott, Ark., and one brother, A. C. Tuberville, of Exeter, California.
