Luther Turner Buried Saturday In Oak Grove

Luther Turner, 40, brother of Horace L. Turner of Winnfield, was buried last
Monday, March 31, following his death Saturday in a Ruston hospital.  Mr.
Turner was employed with an oil company in Tullos.

Last rites were conducted in Oak Grove Baptist Church near Bentley, with Rev.
Hart, former pastor of the Tullos Baptist Church, officiating.  Burial was
in Oak Grove Cemetery under direction of Edmonds of Jonesboro.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bessie Turner, one son, Robert Earl, one
daughter, Peggy, all of Tullos; his mother, Mrs. Fannie Turner of Hodge; two
sisters, Mrs. L. B. Hammons of Pineville, Mrs. Audie Mae Hallbrook, Hodge; six
brothers, Ray and Clint, Hodge, Houston of Sterlington, James of Shreveport,
Horace of Winnfield, and Joh L. of Peru, South America.
