Tyler, Farmer of Calvin, Dies March 28 Last Rites Were Conducted Sunday At Sanders Church W. M. Tyler, 80, retired farmer and for 45 years a resident of Calvin, died at a Shreveport sanitarium Friday at 3:30 p.m. following an operation three weeks ago. Funeral services were held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Sanders Cemetery with Tev. Mr. Shows, Smith of Calvin and D. E. Brown of Shreveport officiating. Interment was under direction of Conger Funeral Home of Arcadia. Deceased is survived by his widow; six sons, F. W., A. J., W. M., Jr., and F. T. Tyler, all of Shreveport; W. H. Tyler, Coushatta; and J. M. Tyler, Alexandria; five daughters, Mrs. D. D. Williams, Alexandria; Mrs. Billy Kenny, New Orleans; Mrs. A. L. Manning, Lima, Montana; Mrs. Arnold Haven and Miss Maggie Tyler, both of Calvin. Also 13 grandchildren.
