B. Taylor of South Winnfield O. B. Taylor, 45, native of Calvin, died in a local hospital June 18, after an illness of four months or more. Funeral services were held at the South Winnfield Baptist Church June 19th with the Rev. R. T. Rhymes, Rev. S. J. Sjolander, pastor, and Rev. C. M. Robinson officiating. Burial was in the Sanders Chapel Cemetery. Acting as pallbearers were five nephews, Rene Mercy, Henry Gilmore, Jr., Joe Accardo, Jr., Floyd Taylor, Lonnie Chandler, and a friend, Buster Goins. A resident of South Winnfield for the past five years, Mr. Taylor was employed in the woods department of the Mansfield Hardwood Lumber Company, and in addition, operated a grocery in South Winnfield. He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his wife, the former Delia Chandler; two children, Orlin and Etoile; four brothers, George of Rt. 4, Winnfield; Henry of Texas City; John of Camp Polk; and Fred of Clayton; two sisters, Mrs. H. M. Gilmore of Waskom, Texas and Mrs. Brithol Garrett of Route 4, Winnfield.
