Tyson's Funeral Rites Held At Corinth Funeral services were held October 1 at Corinth Tabernacle for Fred B. Tyson, 67 year old Winn Parish man, who died September 29, 1965 in the Veteran's hospital in Alexandria after a lengthy illness. Burial was in the Zion Cemetery near Georgetown under direction of Southern Funeral Home. He was a lifelong resident of Winn Parish, a retired government worker, and a member of Zion Baptist Church. Survivors include five sons, Eugene Tyson of Brunswick, Ohio, Wayne R. Tyson of Alexandria, James M. of Mesquite, Texas, and Jerry Tyson of the U. S. Navy; four daughters, Mrs. Lou Van Drake of Pama, Ohio, Mrs. Jerry Beauvette of New Orleans, Mrs. Laura Cartwright of Lakewood, Ohio, and Mary E. Tyson of Pineville; one stepson, Charles R. Holland of Alexandria; and 11 grandchildren.
