Mrs. R. Underwood Of Sikes Is Laid To Rest October 1st

Mrs. R. Underwood died at her home in Sikes, Wednesday morning at eleven
o'clock, following a stroke of paralysis.  She was taken ill on Tuesday
morning and succumbed after a few hours.  Interment was made in the local
cemetery last Thursday.

Mrs. Underwood leaves beside a host of friends and distant relatives, the
following children: Misses Vernie, Lois, Lena, Gladys, and Opal Underwood.

The people of Winn Parish extend sympathy to her children in their
bereavement.
