B. L. Vancleave Dies; Burial At Mars Hill

Bennett L. Vancleave, 69, of Montgomery, died at 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, April 5,
1972, in a Lake Charles hospital.  He was a native of Huntington, Tenn., a
member of the New Testament Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Vancleave of Montgomery; three sisters,
Mrs. Ellen Stanfield of Epps, Mrs. Lessie O'Neal and Mrs. Sallie Ates,
both of Atlanta.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in Southern Funeral Home Chapel
with Jack Mulkey and Luther Raine officiating.  Burial was in Mars Hill
Cemetery near Atlanta under direction of Southern.
