C. A. Vancleave Dies; Burial At D'Artigo

Clifford Andrew Vancleave, 62, of Route 1, Atlanta, La., died Friday morning,
December 24, 1971 in an Alexandria hospital following a long illness.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Southern Funeral Home
Chapel in Winnfield with the Rev. Jack Mulkey officiating.  Burial was in the
Dartigo Cemetery in Grant Parish.

Survivors include his widow; a son, Rodney Vancleave of Tioga; a stepson,
Cecil Lowe of Alexandria; a daughter, Mrs. Don Yates of Winnfield; a brother,
Lee Valcleave of Verda; three sisters, Mrs. Ellen Stanfield of Epps, Mrs.
Lessie O'Neal of Verda, and Mrs. Sally Ates; six grandchildren and two great
grandchildren.
