Maude Vickers

Maude Vickers, 85, of Urania, died Friday, December 29, 1978 in Parkway
Hospital in Houston after a long illness.

The funeral was held at 3 p.m. Monday, in Urania Baptist Church with the Rev.
Doris Dearman and the Rev. Maurice McElroy officiating.  Burial was under the
direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.  

Survivors include two sons, Lyndell Vickers of Houston and Stanley Vickers of
Baton Rouge; one daughter, Mrs. James Parson of Harrisburg, Pa., one sister,
Myrtle Fletcher of Bunkie; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
