Funeral Rites For Mrs. Lillie Vines Held

Funeral services were held Friday at 2 p.m. at Hurricane Creek Baptist Church
for Mrs. Lillie D. Vines, 84, of Dodson, with burial in the church cemetery
under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

The Revs. Harrison Cockerham, Billy Smithart, and James Gorham officiated.

Mrs. Vines died Wednesday, November 22, 1972, in a local hospital following a
lengthy illness.

Survivors include six sons, Albert Vines, Henry Vines, Jim Vines, Clyde Vines,
and Leonard Vines, all of Dodson, and Dewey Vines of Winnfield; one daughter,
Mrs. Ella Snellings of Winnfield; 31 grandchildren, and a number of great
grandchildren.
