W. W. Vines, 50, Dies; Rites To Be Thursday

Woodrow W. Vines, 50, of Dodson, died Tuesday, January 20, 1970 in a local
hospital.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Hurricane Creek Baptist
Church with Rev. Harrison Cockerham officiating.  Interment will be in the
church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cassie Vines of Dodson; one son, Jerry Vines
of Dodson; two daughters, Mrs. Eloise Gaar of Dodson and Mrs. Eunice Elias of
Natchitoches; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Vines of Dodson; six brothers,
Albert Vines, Henry Vines, Jim Vines, Leonard Vines, and Clyde Vines, all of
Dodson, Dewey Vines of Winnfield; one sister, Mrs. Ella Snelllings of
Winnfield; and four grandchildren.
