Funeral Rites For Mrs. Larkin Vines Held Fri.

Mrs. Georgia Alberta Vines, 73, of Winnfield, died at 4 p.m. Wednesday, May
27, 1970, in a hospital here.

She is survived by her husband, Larkin Vines of Winnfield; four sons, Ernest
Vines of Joyce, James Vines of Winnfield, Eugene Vines of New Orleans, and
Virgil Vines of Oregon; one daughter, Mrs. Eugene Kelly of the Hudson 
community; two brothers, Noah Gates of Monroe and Charlie Gates of Dodson; one
sister, Angie Gates of Winnfield; 11 grandchildren and eight great
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Friendship Baptist Church
at Sikes with Rev. E. B. Barton officiating.  Burial was in the church
cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.
