Funeral Here Friday For Mrs. Henry Varnell

Mrs. Minnie Varnell, 60, widow of the late Henry Varnell, who died last
spring, succumbed at her home Thursday, Oct. 26, at 5:30 a.m., ending several
years of illness.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 3:00 p.m. at the South Winnfield
Methodist Church with Rev. Glenn Smith and Rev. Alwin Stokes officiating. 
Interment will be in the Winnfield Cemetery under direction of Southern
Funeral Home.  Pallbearers will be nephews of the deceased.

Surviving are two sons, C. L. Varnell of Winnfield and T. M. Varnell of
Lubbock, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. O. C. Kirkpatrick, Hodge, and Mrs. Vivian
Waller, Minden; and ten grandchildren.
