A. N. Walsworth, 62, Dies; Rites At Mars Hill

Funeral services for Albert N. Walsworth, 62, of Mars Hill Community, were
held at 3 p.m. Sunday in Mars Hill Baptist Church with Rev. W. B. Paige
officiating, assisted by Rev. Gerald Paige.

Interment under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Winnfield, was in
the Mars Hill Cemetery.

A native of Jackson Parish, Mr. Walsworth died Saturday, April 8, 1972 at
12:15 a.m. in a Shreveport hospital.  He was a merchant.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mabre McManus Walsworth; three daughters,
Mrs. James Newman of Benton, Mrs. Martin Shaw of Bossier City, and Mrs. Sandra
Jean Wright of Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii; a son, Garland Walsworth of
Hodge; two sisters, Mrs. J. W. Allbright and Mrs. Muriel Rowe, both of
Jonesboro; a brother, R. V. Walsworth of Jonesboro, and 13 grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Flynn Lashley, Martin Deen, James Newman, Martin Shaw, Ralph
Newman, Kenneth Tarver, Noel McManus, and Jimmie McManus.
