Last Rites For Mrs. E. Waldron Held May 24th

Mrs. Evelyn Waldron, 85, of Joyce, died May 23 while on a visit in Ruston
following a short illness.  She had resided in Joyce many years, and was known
as "Grandma Waldron."  She was a native of Alabama and was a member of the
Grace Methodist Church of Ruston.

Last rites were conducted at the Grace Methodist church, Ruston, Thursday, May
24, at 3 p.m. with the pastor, Rev. Ross, officiating.  Burial was in
Greenwood Cemetery, Ruston, under direction of Southern Funeral Home of
Winnfield.  Surviving are one foster son, Barnard Hightower, Winnfield; two
brothers, Issac Hightower of Eros and Jimmy Hightower of Wyatt.
