Mrs. Ella Maxwell Wheat, 73, wife of Myra Wheat of Roseland, La., died in Magnolia, Miss., May 8, 1968. Interment was in Zion Cemetery near Georgetown Friday with Rev. Miley Walsworth officiating. A Winn native, Mrs. Wheat and her husband operated the Southern Funeral Home and were residents of Winnfield for many years. Survivors include her husband, two sons, James Maxwell Wheat of Midland, Tex., and John Henry Wheat, of Dallas, Tex.; one daughter, Mrs. Pete Jones of Franklinton; two brothers, Ivey Maxwell of Bastrop and Johnny Maxwell of Tullos, and five grandchildren. Mrs. Ralph Horne of Georgetown is a niece of Mrs. Wheat.
