She was the widow of the late E. A. Weeks, Sr. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday in Southern Funeral Home chapel in Winnfield with Rev. Jack Tinnin officiating. Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery. She is survived by four sons, E. A. Weeks, Jr., of Jonesboro, Joe R. Weeks of Alexandria, James J. Weeks of Baton Rouge, and Charles Weeks of Saugus, Calif.; three daughters, Marjorie and Dorothy Weeks of Alexandria, and Mrs. Frank Chapman of Cody, Wyo.; one brother, John J. Peters of Winnfield; four sisters, Josie Peters Mathews of Winnfield, Mrs. A. B. Cox and Mrs. H. C. Simington, both of Shreveport, and Mrs. H. C. Collier of Baton Rouge; and a number of grandchildren.
