Warner Dies; Burial Held At Hebron George A. Warner, 89, of Winnfield, died at 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 1966 at the Parkview Nursing Home, Winnfield, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Warner was a native of Union County, Ark. Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Friday at Spears Chapel in Ruston with the Rev. J. H. Moore, pastor of Barnett Springs Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in Hebron Cemetery near Sikes. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Eula S. Warner of Winnfield; four sons, William A. Warner of Monroe, Travis L. Warner of Key West, Fla., Huey P. Warner of Ruston, and Charlie R. Warner of California; three daughters, Mrs. Frances Thomas of North Carolina, Mrs. Betty Hanson of Atlanta, La., and Mrs. Martha Longino of Montgomery, La., and eight grandchildren.
