Woodard, 69, Dies; Burial In Ringgold Jim Neal Woodward, 69, died at 3 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 1967 in a Winnfield hospital after a long illness. He was a retired salesman and a resident of Winnfield for 23 years. Funeral services were held at 1:30 Saturday, in the First Methodist Church of Winnfield with Rev. Richard Walton officiating. Burial was in Providence Cemetery at Ringgold. Graveside services were held at 4 p.m. Survivors include his wife, Lura Woodward; a son, Tom A. Woodward of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. E. B. Swieca of Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs. Same Coleman of Festus, Mo.; two brothers, Don C. Woodward and Marshall Woodward, both of Ringgold; and eight grandchildren. Pallbearers were Howard Tarver, Roland Rogers, Hiram Wright, E. J. Buchanan, R. E. Dietzel, Reggie Gates, Malcolm Collins, George Tannehill, Jr., and Woodrow Hughes of Natchitoches.
