Walsworth Succumbs To Long Illness On Friday Funeral Services Held Saturday Afternoon at First Baptist Church Mrs. C. F. Walsworth, wife of C. F. Walsworth, clerk of court, died at her home here Friday, November 12, 1937, following an illness of more than five years. She had returned just two hours before from a visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Lee at Belcher, where she had gone to recuperate. Mrs. Walsworth was a member of the First Baptist Church here and previous to her failing health had been active in church and civic circles. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at three o'clock from First Baptist church, with the Rev. B.C. Land, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Alwin Stokes, pastor of the First Presbyterian church and Rev. G. A. Morgan, pastor of the First Methodist church. Interment was made in the local cemetery. Surviving are the husband, C.F. Walsworth, who has been clerk of court of Winn Parish for ten years, two sons, Doyle Walsworth of Sweetwater, Texas, and Charles Walsworth of Baton Rouge, parents Mrs. and Mrs. C. C. Lee of Belcher, two brothers, C. C. Lee, Jr. Natchitoches, Culbert Lee of Monroe and one sister, Mrs. H. E. Shull, Los Angeles, Calif. Pall bearers were: Bryant Sholars, Hasson Morris, J. R. Watts, W. C. Cookston, J. E. Carter and E. J. Byrnes. Amount the out-of-town relatives and friends attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Walsworth, J. T. Walsworth, Jr. and Miss Downs, Mrs. Rose Watts, Mrs. Lloyd Parker, Mrs. Mack Gatlin, Miss Ella Stone, all of Jonesboro, Mr. and Mrs. Tillman Holloway, Miss Dorothy Sells of Baton Rouge, Judson Temple, Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Lee and son, James of Natchitoches, Mr. and Mrs. Culbert Lee, Mrs. A. B. Gentry, Mrs. H. Gentry, Mr. and Mrs. George Temple of Monroe, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Lee, Mrs. and Mrs. Ben Hagood of Belcher, Miss Fay Satterwhite of Crockett, Texas and Patrolman Wingate of State Police Department, Alexandria.
