Bowman Wright Funeral Services Saturday, 2 P.M. Funeral services are to be held Saturday, September 12, for Riley Bowman Wright, 66, who died at his home early Thursday after a long illness. Services will be held at the Winnfield Presbyterian Church with the pastor, Rev. W. Robert Gage, and the Rev. C. C. Martin, pastor of Laurel Heights Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Mr. Wright was a native of Winn Parish and was actively engaged in the livestock business for many years until he became ill some time ago. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lee Orvill Wright of Winnfield; one son, Riley B. Wright, III, two daughters, Olive Sharon and Cherry Ann Wright, all of Winnfield; his mother, Mrs. Olive Wright of Winnfield; three sisters, Mrs. Annette Grigsby and Mrs. Eula Ezell, both of Winnfield; and Mrs. Elliott Keefe of Long Beach, Calif.; one brother, J. F. Wright of Little Rock, Ark. Pallbearers will be Enos Higgs, _____ Higgs, Bill Rice, Huey Berry, John Riley, and Ashton Collier. Second Article, September 24, 1959 Honorary pallbearers were Jim Eagles, A. Leonard Allen, Lee Grigsby, M. V. Riley, Shirley Jackson, Hasson Morris, Casimer D. Moss, Ben Jackson, and Gov. Earl K. Long. Active pallbearers were Troy Smith, D. M. Howell, Bill Rice, Huey Berry, Ashton Collier, and John W. Riley. Mr. Wright was born March 7, 1893 and died September 10, 1959.
