Mrs. V. Whisenant Services Held At Old Union June 23

Funeral services were held Saturday for Mrs. Vina Whisenant, 77, of Joyce. 
She succumbed Fridan in a local hospital after a long illness.

Services were in the Old Union Baptist Church of which she was a member.

Survivors include a brother, Morris Harris, Muscatine, Iowa, and a sister,
Mrs. Mattie Gallion, Muscatine.

Mrs. Whisenant's husband, the late Rev. Edgar Whisenant, pastored several
Baptist churches in the Winn area.

Mrs. Whisenant was a native of Devalls Bluff, Ark.

Rev. Kenneth Wall conducted the services.
