After Lengthy Illness Miss Ethel Wade, 62, of Winnfield, died at 5:15 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 1967 in a Winnfield hospital. She was a retired school teacher. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Hixson Bros. Funeral Home of Winnfield by Rev. W. R. Gage and Judge Harwell Allen. Burial was in the Old Union Cemetery near Joyce under direction of Hixson Brothers. Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Myra W. Harrison of Winnfield, Mrs. Nila W. Friday of Kennedy, Texas, Mrs. Maude W. McManus of Forest Hill and Mrs. Pearl W. Williams of Sulphur. Pallbearers were Harold Williams, A. T. Sanders, Jr., Charles Parker, J. J. Crippen, A. J. McCartney, and Julius Smith.
