Waggoner, 51, Winn Deputy; Dies Saturday Clifford Waggoner, 51, of Sikes, Winn Parish Deputy Sheriff, died at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 1970, at the Winnfield General Hospital from an apparent heart attack. He was also city marshal of Sikes and a World War II veteran. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Hurricane Grove Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Bertie Adams Waggoner, Sikes; two daughters, Mrs. Glenn Gilcrease, Winnfield and Miss Nelda Waggoner, Joyce; his mother, Mrs. Ona Waggoner, Forest, Miss.; three brothers, Jack Waggoner and Buck Waggoner, both of Forest, Miss.; and M. B. Waggoner, Jackson, Miss.; two sisters, Mrs. Jack Dill, Jackson, Miss., and Mrs. Bryant Pope, Forest, Miss.
