Wagoner Held Marchel Fulton Wagoner, 62, died suddenly at his residence in Winnfield Saturday, January 11, 1969. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield with Rev. Wayne Toms and Rev. J. A. Cockerham officiating. Burial was in the Cypress Creek Cemetery near Winnfield under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. He was a native of Ouachita Parish and a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his father, M. E. Wagoner of Winnfield; three brothers, Roy L. Wagoner, Richard L. Wagoner, and Thomas N. Wagoner, all of Winnfield; four sisters, Mrs. Eunice Whisenant, Mrs. Francille Cockerham, and Mrs. Betty Howell, all of Winnfield; and Mrs. Juanita Eagles of Doyline; and a number of nieces and nephews.
