T. Wallace Dies Here Sunday From Heart Attack Beloved Citizen Called Suddenly. Funeral Services Wednesday Mrs. Olive Peters Wallace, 75, widow of the late James T. Wallace, for many years before his demise prominent in political affairs at North Louisiana, died suddenly Sunday night at 10 o'clock. She had been in ill health for several years, but was able to be about herhome until stricken with a heart attack Sunday night. Mrs. Wallace was a devout member of the Baptist church here and, was greatly interested in church and civic work. She was greatly beloved and respected by a large circle of friends. Mrs. Wallace was the mother of 13 children, 10 of whom survive her. They are: Mrs. Cas Moss, Mrs. Belle Mosley, Mrs. Bertha Kidd, C. E. Wallace, and Mrs. W. H. Baker, all of Winnfield, Judge W. M. Wallace of Shreveport, Mrs. Nettie Smith, New Willard, Tex., Mrs. Ida Moore, Minden, George M. Wallace, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Ethel Schonlau, Syracuse, N. Y. A large numver of grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock, where Rev. L. D. Posey of Jena, assisted by Rev. Alwin Stokes and Rev. C. C. Weir, conducted the last rites. The body, escorted by a large concourse of sorrowing friends, was carried tot he local cemetery where interment was made.
