Walker of Dodson Succumbs to Short Illness Funeral Services Held Thurs. Afternoon. Interment at Zion Hill Felix T. Walker, age 80, prominent farmer, gin operator and merchant of Dodson, died at a hospital in New Orleans Wednesday morning following an illness of only a few weeks. Mr. Walker was active in the civic affairs of the community and parish and for many years served as postmaster at Dodson. Though never holding a political office he was among the leaders of his section in such affairs. He was a member of the Dodson Baptist Church, from which funeral services were held and interment made in the Zion Hill Cemetery Thursday afternoon at three o'clock. He was preceded in death by his wife who was the sister of Judge Wiley R. Jones of this district. Surviving him are four children, Henry E. Walker of St. Louis, Mo., Randle Walker of New Orleans, Mrs. B. M. Stovall and Mrs. C. L. Shell of Dodson.
