Grayson Watson officiating. Burial was in Winnfield Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Winnfield. Mrs. Walsh died at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 1977 in a local hospital after a lengthy illness. A prominent native of Winnfield, she was a member of the First Methodist Church. Survivors include five sons, R. S. Walsh, Jr., of Longview, Texas, Richard L. Walsh and George S. Walsh, both of Urania, Joe B. Walsh of Olla and Don H. Walsh of Winnfield; two brothers, Jessie Tannehill of Kerrville, Tex., and Murphy Tannehill of Urania; six sisters, Mrs. Q. T. Hardtner and Mrs. Nevin McKinney, both of Alexandria, Miss Estelle Tannehill of Winnfield, Mrs. Vivian Fort of Beaumont, Tex., Mrs. Nancy Robbins of Hot Springs, Ark., and Mrs. Dee Johnson of Lake Charles; 11 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be made to the church of your choice. Pallbearers were nephews of the deceased.
