Last Sunday morning at 1:00 o'clock Mrs. Sallie Elisabeth Walker, wife of our friend I. S. Walker, breathed her last after a brief illness which puzzled the doctors by its malignity. This estimable lady had a host of friends in our community who attended her funeral on Sunday afternoon and mingled their tears with those of the sadly bereaved relatives. Mrs. Walker leaves desolate a devoted husband and four children, W. W., Cranford, Misses Lorena and Norma. Cranford was absent in Baltimore, Md., where he is employed, but the others were present at the bedside when the end came. The writer, who has enjoyed the friendship of this estimable family, sincerely mourns with them in their hour of sorrow. Additional Comments: Sallie Cranford Walker (b. Mar. 26, 1866 - d. Jul. 10, 1910) is buried in Winnfield City Cemetery.
