R. A. Walker of Colfax Is Buried in Zion Hill Cemetery

Robert Austin Walker, 66, died at his home in Colfax, La., Monday, September
25, 1939, at 4:30 a.m.  Funeral services were held in the Zion Hill Church,
near Winnfield, at 2 p.m., Tuesday, with Rev. Moses Mercer, pastor of the
Colfax Baptist Church officiating.  Interment was in the Zion Hill Cemetery.

The deceased is survived by his widow, Mrs. Alma Walker; three sons, Addison
Walker of Dubach, Arnold and Onus Walker, both of Colfax; three daughters,
Mrs. June McConathy and Miss J. Dell Walker of Colfax, Mrs. N. W. Gates, of
Dry Prong; three brothers, F. D. Walker of Winnfield, C. B. Walker of Slidell,
and G. C. Walker of Oak Grove; two sisters, Mrs. John Stewart and Mrs. Tom
Stewart, both of Winnfield.  There are also five grandchildren.
