Former Dodson Resident Dies In St. Louis ........................ R. F. Walker, Insurance Agent, Is Buried In New Orleans ........................... R. F. Walker, age 46 years, died Saturday, January 11, 10 a.m.., at a St. Louis, Mo., sanitarium, where he had been a patient for ten days and where he had undergone a major operation. Mr. Walker is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. F. T. Walker, esteemed Dodson residents for many years. Mr. Walker was connected with the New York Life Insurance Company and was an outstanding agent, having written the largest amount of business of any representative of the New York Life Insurance Company in the United States. He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Ola Bond, and two sons, Raymond and Hubert, of New Orleans; one brother, Henry E. Walker of St. Louis, Mo., one sister, Mrs. C. L. Shell, of Dodson. Mr. walker was a member of the Baptist Church. Funeral services were held at St. Louis Monday at 3 p.m., and burial was made in New Orleans Wednesday.
