Last Rites For Mrs. Walker Held Here Thursday

Mrs. Viola Hutson Walker, 54, of Slidell, sister of three Winnfield citizens,
died at her home Wednesday, Feb. 21.  Funeral services were held at the
Winnfield First Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. W. L.
Holcomb officiating.  Interment was in the Harmony Grove Cemetery under
direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.

Surviving are her husband, C. B. Walker of Slidell; two sons, R. L. Walker in
the armed services, and C. B. Walker, Jr., of Slidell; one daughter, Miss
Modell Walker of Slidell; three brothers, Orey Hutson of Haynesville, J. T.
Hutson of Shreveport, and M. R. Hutson of Poplarville, Miss.; five sisters,
Mrs. Merle Waters, Mrs. Maudie Cole, and Mrs. Lela Berry, all of Winnfield,
and Mrs. Willard Berry of Pineville; and two grandchildren.

Nephews of Mrs. Walker served as pallbearers.
