THE WINNFIELD-NEWS AMERICAN Friday, February 4, 1938 Brother-in-Law of Mrs. H. C. Earle Is Fatally Injured Alexander Wallace, of Monroe, brother-in-law of Mrs. H. C. Earle died Monday, January 24, from injuries received in an automobile wreck early Sunday morning, January 23. Mr. Wallace's car and a larger machine driven by T. O. Bancroft of Monroe collided head-on fatally injuring Mr. Wallace. The deceased is survived by his wife who wa before her marriage Miss Marie Patton, daughter of Rev. R. A. Patton formerly of Wheeling, now of Monroe, four children, two sons and two daughters, and other relatives. Funeral services were held at the home of his brother, Percy Wallace in Monroe Tuesday,January 25 and interment was made in the Green Lawn cemetery there.
