Mrs. Roy Walker Succumbs; Rites Held February 3

Mrs. Lavera Temple Walker, 54, wife of Roy R. Walker of Route 1, Dodson, died
Tuesday February 1, after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held Thursday morning at the New Hope Methodist Church
with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Ginger Sue Yelverton of
West Monroe, two sons, Jerry Walker, Barksdale Air Force Base, Ray Walker,
Dodson, three brothers, G. C. Temple, Jr., Greenville, Miss., Odell Temple,
Goldonna, Billy Temple, Dodson, one sister, Mrs. Cleo Jones, Morgan City, and
six grandchildren.
