John F. Wall Funeral Held Tuesday At Sikes

Funeral services were held September 4, 1945, at Sikes for John F. Wall, 70,
who died Tuesday at the Caldwell Hospital after a few days illness.  Rev.
Grayson Emmons of Dodson conducted the service.

Mr. Wall, a deacon of the Shady Grove Baptist Church, was born December 20,
1874, and was a resident of Winn Parish throughout his entire life.

Surviving the deceased are four daughters, Mary Wall, Mrs. A. J. Newsom and
Johnnie Wall of Olla, and Mrs. J. W. Newsom of Kelly; a brother, A. A. Wall of
Sikes and a sister, Mrs. Fannie Willis of Ruston; and five grandchildren.
