All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** From: May 24, 1972 Winn Parish Enterprise News-American Former Lula DeLoach Dies In Pineville Funeral services were held Sunday, May 21, at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Alexandria, for Mrs. Stanley Wall, 71, the former Lula DeLoach, who died Friday night at the home of her brother, W. F. "Blackie" DeLoach in Pineville. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Under the tutorship of the late Clay Riser, Mrs. Wall learned the linotype trade and worked for the News-American, a local weekly newspaper, for many years before moving to Chicago, Illinois, where she worked with a printing company until her retirement several years ago. While in Chicago, Mrs. Wall was married to the late Stanley Wall, who preceded her in death. A native of Winn Parish, Mrs. Wall is survived by a sister, Mrs. Blanche D. Hawk, of Sarasota, Fla., and two brothers, W. F. DeLoach and Grissom DeLoach, of Pineville. Attending the funeral from Winnfield were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Burns, Miss Osenia Noah, and Miss Myrtle Calhoun.
