Waller, 84 year old retired Dodson farmer, were held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. Mr. Waller died Tuesday in a Winnfield hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services were held at New Hope Methodist Church with Rev. L. G. Shaw and Rev. Virgil Taylor officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Mr. Waller was born March 2, 1874 in Rapides Parish and had lived most of his life in the Dodson community. Surviving are one son, Charlie Waller of Dodson; six daughters, Mrs. Audie Warner and Mrs. Fred Roark of Winnfield, Mrs. Bryant Coffee of Bakersfield, Calif., Mrs. B. F. Broomfield and Miss Clara Waller of Dodson, and Mrs. George Hughen of Buras; two brothers, J. H. Waller and C. A. Waller of Dodson; one sister, Miss Ada Waller of Dodson; 34 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Sonny Warner, Olan Warner, Rayford Roark, Wayland Roark, Harold Roark, and Tommy Taylor.
