Funeral Services Held Wednesday Afternoon At Gansville Cemetery Mr. Otis Waller, 35 years of age, of Dodson, died suddenly Wednesday March 23, at 3 o'clock a.m. after only a two hour illness. Mr. Waller has for some years operated an oil and gas station and was on duty all day before his death with little complaint as to his health. About one o'clock at night he aroused his wife with a complaint of acute indigestion and before a doctor could arrive, who had been summoned, he was dead. Otis was the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Waller of Dodson, a prominent family of this section. He married Ethel Taylor of the Gansville community. To this union three children were born: Earl, age 12, Juanita, age 10, and Jack, age 3, all of whom survive him with his wife. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. L. V. Fortenberry, of Robeline, assisted by the Rev. Patton of Dodson. The body was laid to rest in the Gansville Cemetery by the hands of a host of loving friends, amid a large gathering of relatives and friends. Mr. Waller led an outdoor life. He was active in the promotion of the Dodson Boy Scout work, having served the Dodson troop both as assistant scout master and advisor. The community feels the loss and sympathizes with the family.
