Mrs. Walker, 82, Dies; Rites At Yankee Springs

Mrs. Medie Walker, 82, of Route 1, Goldonna, died at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, March
23, 1972 at her residence.

A native of Goldonna, Mrs. Walker was a member of the Yankee Springs Baptist
Church.

She is survived by one son, Eugene Walker of Winnfield; one sister, Mrs. Nancy
Shively of Goldonna; and one grandson, Jimmy Walker of Winnfield.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Yankee Springs
Baptist Church.  Rev. McDaniel officiated.  Burial was in the church cemetery
under direction of Southern Funeral Home.
