Father of Mrs. Houston Smith Dies At Eros

J. H. Waller, 64 years of age, died at his home in Eros Tuesday, June 6th,
after several months illness.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at the Baptist Church in Eros by the
Rev. C. B. Gates of West Monroe.  Interment was in the Clarks Springs
Cemetery.

The deceased is survived by his widow and five children: Mrs. C. H. Lindsay,
Rochelle, La.; Mrs. J. W. Wade, Huttig, Ark.; L. W. Waller, Shreveport; Mrs.
Houston Smith, Winnfield; Mrs. T. H. Rayburn, of Pontiac, Miss.

Among those attending the funeral services were Mrs. J. G. Russell, Mrs. A. L.
Smith, Mrs. A. L. Ladner, Mr. and Mrs. J. I. Walker and daughter, and Mrs. H.
E. Parham.
