S. M. Walters, 70, Dies; Interment At Old Union

Funeral services for Samuel Morris Walters, 70, were held at 3 p.m. Sunday in
the Laurel Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Ralph Frazier and Rev. C. C.
Martin officiating.  Burial was in the Old Union Cemetery near Joyce under the
direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Mr. Walters died Friday, October 13, 1967.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Katie Morse and Mrs. Ruby Brown, both of
Winnfield; two brothers, E. K. Walters of Greenville, Miss., and Alvin Walters
of Jackson, Miss.; and 10 grandchildren.
