J. Warner Dies At Tannehill, After Brief Illness Mrs. D. J. Warner, 85, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. N. C. Greer at Tannehill, Janujary 13, after having contracted pneumonia a short while ago. Mrs. Warner was disabled two years ago by paralysis. Mrs. Warner was born at Union Parish, but has lived in Winn since she was very young. Before her marriage in 1865 to D. J. Warner, a Civil War veteran, she was Miss Luzanna Chrissen. Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. N. C. Greer, Tannehill, and Mrs. C. W. Bradford, East St. Louis, Ill., and four sons, George Warner and Jim Warner of Winnfield, Ed Warner of Jonesville and Morgan B. Warner of Arkansas, and one sister, Mrs. Elmina Terrell of Tannehill, and three children who preceded her in death. She has fifty-seven grandchildren and fifty-five great grandchildren. Mrs. Warner was a member of the Baptist Church of Clarks, La., and was buried at the Zion Hill Cemetery Tuesday afternoon by the Rev. A. H. Cullen. Mrs. Warner was buried within a half mile of the home she had known since her marriage in 1866.
